Rainbows Rock

Colour Week wouldn’t be complete without a feature from our favourite vibrant art duo, Pip and Pop. This marvellous lunar rainbow was made in collaboration with Aurelia Carbone and Alex Bishop-Thorpe for the Australian Experimental Art Foundation...

Thousands of handmade glittery rocks were used in careful arrangement to create this beautiful colour spectrum. Even if you joined a space shuttle of Troll Dolls on an expedition to planet rainbow, we don’t think you would see anything as bewildering as this.

The diminutive world of Pip and Pop is saturated with colour and never fails to transport you to a whimsical paradise full of new ideas and utopian dreams. Their candied coloured installations have been assembled in Australia, Japan and Europe and are all available to perve on over on their website.
