Troll Party Fun with Sugarcoated Events

Extreme excitement in our household leading up to Kingston's 4th bday!! His older siblings were just as excited and bless, opened all his presents for him whilst he watched! I planned a party in the park (risky as the previous 3 out of 4 of his parties have been rained out and this one was looking a bit dicey too)!! We proceeded even with grey clouds and thankfully we got through! xx Brie from Sugarcoated Events...

Onto the party details... With the release of the Trolls movie (fab by the way) and such a hit with the kids! Kingston decided this would be the theme for his party and planned his colourful invitations with nanny / Queen of Sugarcoated Events, including a little troll attached for each kid.

A lot of rainbows, colour and glitter feature in the world of the Trolls... which makes an easy (and fun) medium! I found a confetti tablecloth at Kmart for $2 and loved the party range from The Gathered Store - polkadots, unicorns and rainbows! I used their Meri Meri party range for cups, plates, napkins, party hats, star Wands and candles! Love it!!

I hit up Pinterest for some inspiration and found my favourite Oh Happy Day and a beautifully styled troll party! I took a few ideas with me such as the troll cookies and 'print your own labels' for the party bags -"Have a good hair day"!!

On the menu.... rainbow fruit skewers, rainbow cupcakes, Troll (fairy) bread scrolls, mix of sandwiches, trolls cookies and a cheese plate. The Troll cookies were so beautifully made! Colourful, tasty and a real hit! Thankyou Renny - Tastee Treats 4 U.

The cake by LoveLaurenxx was perfect! 5 layer buttercream, with sprinkles and rainbow layers inside. I added my Yay candles and Troll figurines to finish off.

The park had a playground for the kids and I set up a rainbow piñata in one corner with a canopy and blankets for kids to colour in, brush Trolls hair and eat lollies. All in all it was a success! the parents enjoyed a champas or 2 and the kids left with full tummies and little party bags with A Troll Pez and fairy dust.

Our Little Wild One Turns One!

Late last year our gorgeous little Vinnie turned ONE!! And what better way to celebrate than with a WILD party for our WILD ONE! We wanted a day filled with lots of laughter, piles of giggles and of course CAKE!

When we were coming up with decoration ideas we were ecstatic to stumble across Ruby Rabbit - the perfect party shop for... well... EVERYTHING! Bunting, balloons, tableware, stationary, party bags, and my all time favourite... Confetti!!

With lashings of copper and gold set to a monochrome backdrop the little wild ones set about wildly dashing around the backyard... Just biding their time until they could let loose on the WILD THING piñata and watch candy fill the yard.

Then it was time for cake... What would a birthday be without cake!! And what would cake be without an AMAZING cake topper! We were lucky enough to work with the incredibly clever Communicake it on this stunning 'Wild One' topper. She also whipped up some very cool wooden arrows to use in the table settings!

It was a wonderful day surrounded by those who love our Mr Vinnie and Vinnie had the best time ever being entertained by all the 'BIG' kids going 'WILD'!

Here's some links to all the fun bits and pieces we used to style the day...
Gorgeous decorations from Ruby Rabbit.

Decorative Wooden Arrows also from Communicake it.

Blizzard Bday with Sugarcoated Events

A blizzard of powder blue, silver, and white frosted the room for Asha's 'Disney' inspired 'Frozen' Party last year! I have never seen so many little Queen Elsa's under one roof! A stunning silver backdrop with pom honeycomb paper balls, ruffles and gorgeous lanterns hanging like snowflakes from the ceiling... Sugarcoated Events. x

Glass cannisters filled with gumballs, white chocolates, caramel bon bons, and marshmallows.... And the cutest little Reindeer (Sven) and snowmen (Olaf) cupcakes made by Le Petit Pops! Each snowman had a different expression and so yum - salted caramel flavour!

Powder blue and white snowflake cookies from the lovely Tastee Treats 4U, and my sister (the bday girls mum) made a gorgeous Frozen castle cake.

Queen Elsa arrived in all her beauty and the girls were star struck, they sang 'Let it Go', danced, had their faces painted and so many other games that kept the kids happy and the parents even happier!

After singing happy birthday to Queen Asha and consuming their weight in sugar, the little ones left with a snowflake lolly bag and little 'Build your own Snowman' packs'! So much fun....."Let it gooooooooooo"!

Crystals, Castles and Cake! with Sugarcoated Events

The little miss is 4 next month! Getting a little party prep on... firstly the dress! Miss Sage is a girly girl! It's all about the dress, so I let her choose her own special Tutu Du Monde number and have kept it aside for the special day...

Sage loves a bit of bling so we chose a little Crystal theme to go with her princess pamper party. A Crystal touch on the invitations... all white castles with white glitter turrets and little crystal door handles that open out to reveal the party details.

We will pop in a little princess wand and fairy dust for the princesses to open on arrival. She also chose this tiara to wear on the day and wants to wear my crystal necklace too. Queen Elsa will be greeting the mini guests at the door... can't wait to see their little faces! Brie and Karon from Sugarcoated Events. x
