Kingston's Panda Party with Sugarcoated Events

Panda fun for my little boys 2nd birthday! I won a little party pack from clever Eva (@eeflillemor) on Instagram and that created the theme for the party! Just a family dinner (although our family alone is a party in itself)! xx Brie from Sugarcoated Events...

We made some cute panda invitations and matched the bunting on the day. The soft panda head was the wall feature and created a fun party feel! We set up a small table and displayed vanilla cupcakes topped with panda figurines and cake toppers. We used a few little panda things from Kingston's room for display, some balloons and mini party bags plus an amazing panda cake made by the Sugarcoated CEO!

Kingston had so much fun with all his cousins and singing happy bday was the highlight! We didn't go crazy with the set up but enjoyed a beautiful family dinner and the sweets table for dessert... Oh and little white party bags with panda cookies and a little panda figurine to take home.

Here's some links to all the fun panda bits and pieces we used to style the day...

Bunnies in the Garden with Sugarcoated Events

An Easter picnic in the garden for some little bunnies! Quick to hop on over to the gelato striped rug to lay out their sweet findings from the garden, and share hot cross buns with Mr rabbit (hiding behind the trees)! We popped some pastel ball lanterns (with tulle) in the hedge to create the Easter party feel. The kids opened chocolate eggs and compared Easter baskets and bunny hats...

Inside, a lovely white display of cookies and chocolates sat under a gorgeous Chloe Fleury paper bunny in pink and lemon, accompanied by a soft floral garland.

The outdoor scene was more popular with the little ones which meant the adults were free to roam the sweets table! So many great and original cookie finds this year!

Here are links to our Easter picks as displayed... hope you all eat way too much chocolate and laugh with your loved ones. xxx Karon & Brie from Sugarcoated Events.

Lion and the Huntsman

What better way to celebrate growing another year older than by sending your friends a beautiful Lion and the Huntsman letterpress invite. The ever evolving collection of designs are as colourful and quirky as the tiny tots to tearaway tweens they were designed for...

Already established directors of boutique invitation design agency Zed & Bee, when Zoe and Billie became mothers, there grew a want to produce speciality event stationery with personality for little ones.

Wanting to create unforgettable invitations to accompany their children's birthday parties, Lion and the Huntsman was born, and named lovingly in honour of Zoe and Billie’s sons, Leon and Hunter.

Lion and the Huntsman invitations are printed locally, utilise traditional speciality print processes, at the highest quality. They are preprinted, beautifully boxed and conveniently posted, ready to customise with your event details.

Party Perfect

It is starting to feel a lot like Christmas, and we can barely contain our excitement! We love the smell of pine trees, all the beautiful arts and crafts to try and most importantly all the fun Christmas parties to host and attend...

When you think of Christmas parties, you often conjure up images of red and green overload and santas galore. But they don't all have to be classic. You can make them as minimalistic and as modern as you like.

Take this gorgeous affair we spotted on 100 Layer Cake as the perfect example. It was featured on their site recently and it came to them from a very creative kids party store based in LA called Fire & Crème Kids .

The party is completely dreamy. Full of all types of things kids want to make, play with, and eat, but it also looks absolutely beautiful too!

There is no better time to be a small child with a big imagination than Christmas time.

With cookies to eat, tipis to hide in and snow globes to make, this party definitely pulls at our heartstrings and makes us want to be small again.

With loads of new ideas quite literally laid out on the table, we hope this gorgeous spread has inspired you as much as it has us.

Even if we can’t all pull off a party like this (it is such a busy time of year after all), it is still really refreshing to see such beautiful inspiration.

Twinkle Twinkle

We love this Twinkle Twinkle Little Star birthday theme to the moon and back. It was imagined and styled by Kirsten Krason of 6th Design School for her daughter Jane’s first birthday party...

From the gorgeous twinkling black backdrop and voluptuous pink star cake, to the fact that all of girls are the same age and all have the same Antilop highchair from Ikea, every little detail has been immaculately planned and presented for this special soiree.

Up above the world so high, like a diamond in the sky indeed. The entire nursery rhyme has been captured perfectly.

Upon arrival, each little girl was topped with a cute little crown to wear and given a personalised star-shaped wand to wave around and point out what delicious treat they wanted to eat next…

Be it the peanut butter and jelly star-shaped sandwiches, or the yummy looking star cut chips, there was plenty of delicious food on offer… all perfectly within theme of course.

To see more of this amazing birthday party, and to read up on all the nitty gritty details about the DIY and products showcased, head over to the 6th Design School website.

The Baby Shower

We love taking hot showers and getting caught in sun showers, but nothing quite beats a good old baby shower. Especially when they are as beautiful as this one that has been put together by Lisa Storms (fitting name huh!)...

Raindrops, clouds, umbrellas and plenty of cake pops to go around, this is a storm we wouldn’t mind getting caught in. The gorgeous affair was inspired by the thought of literally throwing a shower for one of her friends – and hasn’t Lisa just pulled it off brilliantly.

We think it is such a cute, gender-neutral theme and we will definitely be keeping this in mind for our next friend in need. You can find the full instructions on how to recreate this theme right here.

Blooming Festivity

Hip hooray for this magical birthday party that no doubt smells as gorgeous as it looks. Unicorns, confetti, petals and posies are scattered here there and everywhere… yes there is a lot to adore about this sweet little six-month soiree...

We love the pretty palette of pastel hues that have been carefully selected to create the perfect atmosphere for a little princess party.

Photographer Natalie Spencer's little girl Ellia is the lucky lady who had this gorgeous affair thrown for her. The styling is absolutely bursting at the seams with fun and joy and we can't help but want to jump inside to eat, dance and play ourselves.

"With Ellia's 6 months coming up, my sister Mercedes of Darling and Daisy, and I decided to centre the party around her unicorn, which had been made with love for her months before she was born” says Natalie.

Even the sweet treats table is brimming with bright flowers, sprinkles and hand made confetti. Not to mention a delightful spread of homemade brownies, chewy chocolate chip cookies, doughnuts and a terrific truffle cake. RSVP yes please!

Little Fairies in the Woods

This magical fairy party styled by Fire and Creme is sure to transport family and friends to a world of dreams and make-believe...

Hosted in such a beautiful natural setting and brought to life with such whimsical styling, lucky guests would float away from the party unsure what was real and what was not.

From the stunning flower crowns and delicate fairy wings to the snuggly dreaming mats and feasting table, every detail has been carefully planned out in this wonderful woodland affair.

We love the natural fibres and colours that have been carried through the styling.

Pops of colour are certainly not spared, which ensures vibrancy and energy, but the overall vibe remains calm and rather zen-like.

Fire and Creme is a full service event planning company, based in Venice, CA. Check out their website for more of their work.
