1. PERCH BUNK BED - OEUF NYC
Definitely one of our favourites, the Perch Bunk Bed from Oeuf NYC is the perfect centrepiece for any child's room. Oeuf are known for creating modern, elegant nursery furnishings that enhance any room, and they have certainly done that with the Perch. This versatile bunk bed is made up of two separate singles so that they can be easily moved into different layouts. Apart from the traditional bunk layout, the lower bunk can be moved to create an 'L' shape, or removed completely creating a loft bed and a standalone twin. 2. MAJA BUNK BED - AALTO + AALTO
Creating objects that have an aesthetic and emotional value, Aalto + Aalto aim to create everyday objects that have a strong identity and story. These beautiful Maja bunk bed's were inspired by tree houses, creating a little bit of magic in a child's room. The sad news is that at this point they are just a prototype... fingers crossed they are headed for production soon!
3. COCO BUNK - ASPACE
The Coco Bunk from Aspace is a full sized adult bunk bed with great functional storage drawers in the base. Modern in design, the end panels have large cut out windows, letting extra light into the lower bunk space. With the contrast panelling and the pleasing yet functional raised upper bunk edge, you might just end up staying the night in their room.
4. SCOOP BUNK BED - LILLY & LOLLY
The Scoop Bunk Bed from Lilly & Lolly is made up of curved, child friendly shapes. With large and small cut outs perfect for climbing in, crawling over and peeking through, this bed is almost a cubby house!
5. UFFIZI BUNK BED - ARGINGTON
Offering a straight forward solution to your child's room, the Uffizi Bunk Bed provides a resting place that your children will love to call their own. Designed by artisan duo Jenny Argie and Andrew Thorton, the Uffizi creates interesting spaces with a semi-enclosed lower bunk, and window like openings. The Uffizi Bunk can also be arranged in different variations making it workable for nearly all spaces.
6. PLUUNK BUNK BED - INQUISITIVE KID
The Pluunk Bunk Bed has been designed with all four sides in mind, meaning that it can be placed in various configurations depending on the space. Designed by an internationally acclaimed Toronto architecture firm, this contemporary bunk bed is as much a creative space as usable one.The 'large windows' can provide a stage for puppet shows or the addition of a blanket through the rings of the ladder create a fort.
