Give Back Friday
After an incredibly tough year for many we want to give something special to those in need this Black Friday.
From today until midnight Sunday we are celebrating Give Back Friday with 10% off storewide* with the code 'GIVEBACK' and 10% of all profits going to the Auckland City Mission present appeal, providing Christmas gifts for those who would otherwise go without.

Our Little Gatherer Clevedon Store is also a registered collection point for Christmas food and gifts for the Auckland City Mission’s ‘Be Someone's Angel Appeal’ this year, to help make Christmas magical for
families in need.
With the help of organisations like theirs, the Mission last year distributed over 8000 Christmas food parcels and over 30000 gifts to people in the community, who could not otherwise afford to enjoy the festive season.
This Christmas will be particularly hard for many, and our support is more important than ever.
Suggested food donations include: tinned food (beans, soup, fish, vegetables), pasta, rice, spreads, cereals, muesli bars, flour, tea bags and Christmas treats.
Gifts for all ages (including teenagers and adults) are hugely appreciated, as well as donations of wrapping paper and tape. The Mission suggests a budget of $10-$20 per gift.
Here are a few gift ideas that have made Christmas special for families in previous years:
Infants *
Rattles, cardboard books, night lights, bath toys, teething rings
Toddlers
Bath toys, wooden puzzles, soft toys, Duplo
Primary School
Puzzles, dress-ups, dolls/action figures, Lego, Board games, craft kits, toy cars, stationery, books
Teenagers *
Stationery, books, jewellery, sports ball, toiletries, gift voucher or Prezzy card
Adults *
Board games (e.g. Jenga, Monopoly), reusable drink bottles, toiletries, gift voucher or Prezzy card
Elderly men and women *
Slippers, toiletries, scarf/boxed handkerchiefs, gift voucher or Prezzy card
* we particularly need gifts for these age groups.
Little Gatherer is collecting Christmas food and gifts for the Auckland City Mission this year at our Clevedon Store. If you can drop your donations of non-perishable food and new, unwrapped Christmas gifts at 7 Papakura-Clevedon Road before the end of November to be included in the collection.
Alternatively you can make an online donation to the Mission at aucklandcitymission.org.nz.
Thank you for your support. x
